Who is responsible

MB Mindpeek, trading as DataCenterPrep, is the controller responsible for personal data processed through datacenterprep.com. For any privacy question, email info@datacenterprep.com.

What we collect

• Email you give us. If you ask for the free question sample or updates, we collect the email address you enter.
• Purchase details. When you buy a product, our payment provider processes your payment and billing details. We receive limited order information, such as the product, amount, currency, status, billing country and, where you provide it, VAT details, never your full card number.
• Basic usage data. Like most websites, our hosting and checkout providers may log standard technical data such as IP address and browser type to serve the site, deliver files, and protect against abuse.

How we use it

• To provide the free question sample and, if you asked for updates, to let you know when new products launch.
• To deliver products, handle refunds, and provide support.
• To understand which pages and products are useful, and to improve them.
• To keep the site secure and meet our legal obligations.

Email and analytics

The free sample is delivered as an instant PDF download, you don't need to wait for an email. When you enter your address to get it, we record it so we can send you occasional related updates and let you know when new products launch. You can unsubscribe at any time, and we don't sell your address or share it for others' marketing.

We use Google Analytics and Google Ads to see which pages and products help people prepare, and to measure whether our advertising works. Both run in Google’s Consent Mode with every storage type set to denied, and we never grant it. In that mode they set no cookies and store nothing on your device; Google receives anonymous pings it cannot tie to you across visits. They record the page visited, the referring site, and coarse details like country, browser and screen size.

That is also why you see no cookie banner here. A consent notice exists to ask permission to store things on your device, and we do not store anything, so there is nothing to ask you about. We would rather run measurement that needs no permission than ask for permission we do not need.

We never send your email address or any other direct identifier to an analytics provider. Your order reference is stripped from the address before analytics sees it, so the link that reaches your files is never recorded.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run DataCenterPrep, and only as needed to provide the service:

• Our web form provider: records the email address you submit for the free sample and updates list.
• Our payment provider: processes payments and billing details at checkout.
• Our email delivery provider: delivers your purchase and download emails.
• Our hosting and content-delivery providers: host the site, store and deliver purchased files securely, and help protect against abuse.
• Our advertising and conversion-measurement provider: receives page views and, if you buy, the fact that a purchase happened, so we can tell which adverts and which pages actually help people. It receives the page address, page title, browser, device type, approximate location from your IP address, and referring site. It never receives your name, your email address, or your order reference, and pages that carry an order reference load no measurement tags at all.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, for example, while you are subscribed, or as long as required to support a purchase and meet legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in the email, or by contacting us. To exercise any right, email info@datacenterprep.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.

Children

DataCenterPrep is intended for adults preparing for work and is not directed at children.

Changes

We will update this policy as the product and our legal requirements evolve, and post the current version here with a revised "last updated" date.
