About

Why DataCenterPrep exists

Data centers power the digital systems people use every day, but the path into the industry is often unclear.

DataCenterPrep is a self-paced interview and career preparation platform for data center jobs, covering operations, construction, and engineering roles with role-tagged questions, model answers, and vendor-neutral systems knowledge. One-time purchases, 30-day refund.

Data centers power the digital systems people use every day, but the path into the industry is often unclear. Job titles vary. Requirements vary. Interviews test a mix of hardware, power, cooling, operations, safety, documentation, and judgment.

DataCenterPrep exists to make that preparation clearer. We create practical interview question banks, fundamentals training, role guides, and preparation tools for people entering data center work from IT, trades, facilities, military, school, or non-traditional backgrounds.

The goal is simple: help candidates understand the environment, learn the vocabulary, practice the questions, and prepare with more confidence.

Our founders

Founder-led, and accountable by name

DataCenterPrep is built by real people who put their names to the work. Company and go-to-market leadership is kept separate from technical review: our material is reviewed for technical accuracy by practising data center engineers before it ships. We do not publish their names: they review on condition their employers are not implicated in commercial material, which is a normal condition in this industry.

That separation is deliberate. It keeps the marketing honest and the technical claims credible, so what you prepare with reflects real practice.
